Argentina’s Kirchner sworn in for second term
Cristina Kirchner has been sworn in for a second term as Argentina’s president after a landslide re-election in October. And while life in the last decade for Argentines has improved enormously it remains to be seen whether her support base will last if inflation – which is amongst the highest in the world at more than 25 per cent – continues to rise.
